About TCG Haven – More than a webshop, a mission

Hi, my name is Ali and I welcome you to TCGHAVEN 👋

Who am I? Father of three beautiful daughters, husband, hardworking man – and someone who turned his hobby into something bigger. Gamer, anime and manga lover at heart.

My TCG journey started in 2024 with One Piece OP07. Then came OP08 and OP09… and yes, you know how it goes: before I knew it, I was completely hooked. What began as curiosity grew into a serious passion.

Soon I discovered (again) Pokémon – with Pikachu and Snorlax as favorites – but I realized how extremely expensive this hobby can be. MSRP prices seemed almost impossible. New sets came out in waves, factories ran overtime, yet prices remained sky-high. That didn't feel right.

I asked myself one question: Why can't this be fairer and more affordable?

The mission

That's where my mission came from: offer TCG products at the lowest possible prices.

Not because I need to live off it – I have a good job in ICT – but because I believe this hobby should remain fun and accessible. For collectors. For players. For parents. For young people.

I tried to get in with distributors. That proved almost impossible. Logical too: there are hundreds of webshops that want this. But I persisted.

Then I discovered a new Bandai distributor that has been active as the fifth official distributor in Europe since December. After multiple applications and considerable determination, I was eventually accepted as a customer.

When I saw the real purchase prices, I knew for sure:

This can be fairer. This can be better.

And then I went all-in.

Why TCG Haven?

TCG Haven is a trading name under my KvK-registered business MNJCollective. Originally founded for ICT services as a freelancer, but my heart was always with TCG. The name tcghaven.nl was available – and felt right immediately.

A haven is a safe place.

A place you come back to.

A place where your hobby feels like pleasure instead of stress.

That's what I want to create.
